I somehow locked up the page that you go to by choosing comments on the dashboard. I had been deleting spam comments, I have a blog that sat idle for a while and collected 10K comments. I went to display options and set it to view 200 comments at a time, after finding that 500 or 999 for a three digit field didn't work.

Deleting 200 was tedious but I removed over 7K of the comments before I could no longer return to the edit comments page, it simply loaded as blank.

the link goes to a page called edit-comments.php. I tried reloading that page from another installation. That didn't work. At this point I'd just like to have the edit-comments capabilities back. I also tried putting in a new version of it from another installation, this also did not work.

The issue may not lie with any of the scripts but in your database. Have you tried repairing it?
