meta4manI somehow locked up the page that you go to by choosing comments on the dashboard. I had been deleting spam comments, I have a blog that sat idle for a while and collected 10K comments. I went to display options and set it to view 200 comments at a time, after finding that 500 or 999 for a three digit field didn't work.
Deleting 200 was tedious but I removed over 7K of the comments before I could no longer return to the edit comments page, it simply loaded as blank.
the link goes to a page called edit-comments.php. I tried reloading that page from another installation. That didn't work. At this point I'd just like to have the edit-comments capabilities back. I also tried putting in a new version of it from another installation, this also did not work.
