How to resize text boxes

    Hello, I am having some problems here with resizing boxes. I am using the plugin “shortcode ultimate” and am currently using the box option. however when I insert something, the box stretches across the page and this is not what I want to happen. I would prefer the box to be a quarter across the page because I would like to put 4 boxes across the page. Could you help me please in what to do to resize the box?
