   I am working on a localhosted wordpress site and I seem to have forgotten the password. The problem is when I press "forgot password" and enter my email address I never receive any email. Is there another way I can recover or reset my password?

   I don't think email works on localhost but here are other ways for you to reset your password:

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password

   I suggest you use the Through phpMyAdmin section.
