How to Require Manual Approval with Spam Karma WP Plugin? (7 posts)

I have Spam Karma 2 installed on my blog; it seems to supercede the "require approval" list in Options > Discussion.

However, I'd like to instruct SK2 that if anyone posts using my e-mail address, it needs to be sent to me for approval prior to posting. This way, I don't have someone impersonating me on my blog. (It's not that I'm especially concerned about it, but it was recommended in a post I read somewhere.)

So, any idea how I might tell Spam Karma "if someone posts a comment from e-mail address example@example.com, then you should ask me to approve it before posting"?

    Thanks!

  2. My sk2-moderate plugin should solve this for you.

You can read more about it and download it here: http://blog.ftwr.co.uk/wordpress/sk2-moderate-plugin/

Yes, but, looking at your page, it seems as if that would enable moderation for all messages, if I'm parsing it correctly. I'm looking actually just to moderate messages using my e-mail address.

  4. Yes sorry Mike, it seems I half scanned your post and missed the bit about wanting to stop people using your email address
maybe something like impostercide will help you:

It looks extremely promising. I can't download ZIP files at work due to our firewall, but I shall download it and give it a run. Thanks!
