    I tried the methods indicated in the forums, but they didn't work in K2. Any idea as to how I can reposition my tille/tagline? Thanks!

    To modify K2, you should make a child theme as described here: K2 Child Themes.

    Then, modify k2-header.php as described under 'K2 Blocks'.

    Thanks, vtxyzzy! I did all the work up to this step [Activate your child theme via Appearance > Themes panel.], but got stuck. When I go to themes, nothing says "Child" and "k2-custom" or "k2-child" searches don't make anything appear. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

    What did you name your new folder? Make sure the new folder is in your themes folder, the name has no spaces in it, and make sure the new style.css in the new folder has a Template: value that is the same as the name of the K2 folder (probably just K2, but check the case, it might be k2). Finally, make sure that your new child folder contains screenshot.jpg.

    Thanks 4 responding: new folder is k2-custom. It's in wordpress/wp-content/themes/k2-custom. The screenshot is a png file not a jpg.

    /*
    Theme Name: VBA K2 Child Theme
    Theme URI: http://venicebeachartists.com/
    Description: A blog by Nowhere Man
    Author: Nowhere Man
    Author URI: http://venicebeachartists.com/about
    Template: k2-custom
    */

    It seems Kosher to me?

    Template needs to be K2 or k2, the folder where K2 is installed.

    Thanks, I changed it, but I'm still stuck at the point where I click on Appearane/themes in wordpress. It says K2 is my theme as usual. Nothing says child nor indicates how to activate it. Any ideas as to what I'm still missing. Your last comment was spot-on. Thanks again fro taking the time to help me :)

    You have to activate your child theme. Click on Appearance->Themes, scroll down (or page down, if necessary) and activate k2-custom.

    This is all that appears on the page/there is no place to activate a k2-child theme that I can discern?

    Is your new k2-custom folder in the same theme folder as K2 and default?
    Did you by chance name it 'k2 custom' instead of 'k2-custom'?

    The file structure should be:

    wp-content
       themes
          default
          K2
          k2-custom
             style.css
             screenshot.png
