   I can load/upload a new pdf. But if I try to attach it, wordpress adds it to my website instead what I want to do which is replace the previous pdf. HELP!

   If you are wanting to replace a pdf file with the same name you must first delete the original pdf from the media library, then upload the new one. Hope that helps!
