how to remove title “Categories” from sidebar?

    Hi there,

    I’m using sidebar widgets with the WuCoco – Three Column 0.10.2 Theme.
    Under ->Presentation ->Sidebar Widgets I was able to change the Category title but under that new title the word “Categories” is still displayed in my sidebar.
    In the sidebar.php I tried removing the title but then only my header would load and nothing beneath it.
    Also I want to be able to have the post counts displayed which I check marked in the Sidebar Widgets Category Menu but no luck.
    Is something (a plugin) overwriting these changes?
    Or what do I need to do to fix this?
