Hi bluefusion,
This is something others have requested as well and I will take care of it in the next update.
Please take a look at this support thread as well.
The update will be available somewhere early next week, hopefully. Thank you for your patience. 🙂
An option to hide the title is available in version 2.2.5!
I am testing out the show title feature, thanks for adding this. If I uncheck the show title box, it seems the plug-in is still generating an empty <h2 class=”widgettitle”></h2> tag.
In my case this is a problem because I have a style for h2 that shows the border-bottom. Even though there is no text, in the tag, the border still displays. I can probably work around this using CSS, by removing the border for only those h2 that have class widgettitle. But I would prefer to not have the title tag at all.
Is it possible to update the plug-in so that it does not print the <h2 class=”widgettitle”></h2> tag at all?
Hi there,
That’s really strange and shouldn’t be happening. The plugin will only shows the before_title
and after_title
code if the user opted to show the title.
Most likely, your theme handles their widgets not following WordPress standards or some other plugin is interfering. For me, the <h2>
tag isn’t showing when I hide the title…
Sorry, I looked into the code of one of my other plugins. Twice now. :/ Will fix this in the next update!
