Because of an error message I added a user and password into xcach.ini and php.ini, but now I keep being asked for a username and password everyime a want to add a new post. How can I disable that?

There’s a drective in the xcache ini settings that allows the admin panel authentication to be disabled. Please check the documentation for details.

Could you give me a directive 😉 as to where I can find this setting? I looked in the xcache.ini of the W3C Total Cache plugin, but changing things there, like setting the authetication to Off doesn’t help. Then there is the php.ini of the server that also contains this line which I also set to Off. And the xcache documentation on the internet is rather short and not really helpfull, at least not the sites I found. Do you know a better site with better documentation? The site runs on a VPS server by the way.
