How to Remove the Archives Link in the nav bar (6 posts)

    I'm running the latest version. (fBlue 1.0 theme) For my purposes I don't need to display the archive or category link in the navigation bar. I must be searching using the wrong terms cause I can't find anything on this.

    You mean on the right? That's your sidebar.
    Open your sidebar.php (good name, eh?) and edit/delete...

    What exactly to edit is now my question? Searched for Archive , nothing. Searched for Category and commented out the one instance I found but nothing changed.

    To add to moshu's suggestion, note that we'd be looking for what around here are called Template tags. These are the functions in WordPress that let you dynamically generate various blog elements.

    For categories, it's list_cats() or wp_list_cats(). For dated archives, it should be get_archives() or wp_get_archives().
