[resolved] How to remove tagline section from Origin theme? (7 posts)

    This topic was posted once before by someone else but there were no answers. I am using Origin theme and do not need the tagline section. Can anyone suggest how to remove the tagline, including the thin gray line below it (leaving the black upper bold line intact)? I am working with a child theme that has a custom CSS box built in.

    My site.

    Thanks!

    #site-description
    {
    display:none !important;
    }
    and either
    #site-description {
    border-bottom: none !important;
    }
    or
    .home #site-description {
    border-bottom: none !important;
    }
    Let me know if that helps

    That got rid of everything, including the bold black dividing line on top. Any way to do it, leaving that line intact?

    Thanks, soco!

    #site-description
    {
    border-top:#000000 !important;
    }
    Try that - if it doesn't work remove all the new code so I can see the original site.

    This should work.

    #site-description span {
    	position: absolute !important;
    	clip: rect(1px 1px 1px 1px); /* IE7 */
    	clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);
    }
    #header #site-description {
    	width: 100%;
    	padding: 0;
    	border-bottom-width: 0;
    }
