   Hello,

   can you help me, how can I remove tag slug (without /tag)

   Example:
   domain.com/tag/fish

   I want to have:
   domain.com/fish

   Is it possible?

   I don't think it is. It would mean that you couldn't have a post with a slug of fish anymore.

   Probably not, as it is not possible to remove "category" from an URL like example.com/category/mycategoryname.

   Nope. Can't be done. Same problem as with removing the category identifier.

   You must have an identifier. You can change it to anything you like, but it must actually exist, it can't be blank or missing. WordPress does not support that.
