    How do I go about removing the page title (and the square to the left of it, if possible) from the page on my home screen??

    I saw this old thread on this WordPress forum regarding the similar topic.

    One of the suggestions was to modify the page.php file, but the line referenced in there isn't in my page.php file. Another suggestion was to modify the onecolumn-page.php file, but I don't have one of those either.

    I tried modifying the code that fixed the issue for the person that asked the question, but that didin't work for me. In fact, that portion of my code in my contentpage.php file is a little different than what I believe she had.

    How can I get this done? Thanks!

    It is possible to save a page without a Title. Set that page as front page from

    Admin Panel > Settings > Reading

    then Static Page > Front Page to select the page.

    if you want to use css, try adding this to style.css:

    .home .entry-title, .home .postformat { display: none; }
