    Hello,

    My blog http://www.vinov.com is very basic.

    A while back I had some links posted under the "Link" category. I removed the links, but still have the "Link" category on the page. How can i remove this?

    PS I am running WP 2.02

    Thanks!

    Michael

    Hello

    Look in wp-content/themes/active-theme for the sidebar.php file and somewhere in there is:

    <?php get_links_list(); ?>

    Thanks for the response!

    Should I remove it?

    I did remove that little snippet, but it still seems to be there.

    If you go to "links" then "link categories" you're able to delete the links which will stop them from showing up on your page.

    Thanks Chef. But....

    I should have mentioned that I did open the Category list and deleted "Links"

    Still is there. What's up????

    Gosh, I should know the answer to that, but can't come up with it - I'll go dig around in my blogs, give me a bit....

    Bookmarked your site, btw. We lived in Ojai when I was a kid (vintage: mid 50's, Mickey Mouse Club, Spin and Marty.... LONG before whatsherface made it famous....)

    Hm.... what you need to search for is in the (probably) sidebar.php file, search for an h2 - the one you want has the word "Links" there.... delete that....
