    I would like to remove the following items from my sidebar: Search,Tags,Categories,Archives. I am using the site as a business website these items are not necessary.

    My site: http://www.pricelessmemoriesphoto.org

    I removed the buttons from the sidebar section on the Widgets page, but this did not work.

    Are there other widget areas that display in your Appearances -> Widgets that have the Search, Tags, Categories, etc. inside of them?

    In the Appearances panel there is: Themes, Widgets, Menus, Theme Options, Background, Header, Editor.

    I select Widgets and there are 3 boxes: Available Widgets, Inactive Widgets, and Sidebar. (also 2 Footer boxes that have nothing).

    I moved everything that was in the sidebar over to the inactive box, except for one Text widget I added from the available widgets box.

    I notice that even though I moved the Search, Tag and Categories Widgets to the unavailable box, they still exist in the available box.

    The only thing I see in my Sidebar box is the Text Widget. Yet the others still remain in the sidebar of my site.

    Does this answer your question?

    the code for it is in sidebar.php of your theme;

    <?php get_search_form();?>
    	<?php get_template_part('about');?>
    	<div  id="t1">
    		<ul id="t1-nav">
    			<li >
    				<a href="#tab1" ><?php _e('Categories', 'mt-dark');?></a>
    			</li>
    			<li >
    				<a href="#tab2" ><?php _e('Archives', 'mt-dark');?></a>
    			</li>
    			<li >
    				<a href="#tab3" ><?php _e('Tags', 'mt-dark');?></a>
    			</li>
    		</ul>
    		<div class="tab" id="tab1">
    			<ul>
    				<?php wp_list_categories('show_count=0&title_li=');?>
    			</ul>
    		</div>
    		<div class="tab" id="tab2">
    			<ul>
    				<?php wp_get_archives('type=monthly');?>
    			</ul>
    		</div>
    		<div class="tab" id="tab3">
    			<?php wp_tag_cloud('smallest=10&largest=24&number=28&order=desc');?>
    		</div>
    		<script type="text/javascript">
    			var tabber1 = new Yetii({
    				id : 't1',
    				active : 1
    			});

    		</script>
    	</div>

    remove (most of) that section - possibly leave just this line:

    <?php get_template_part('about');?>
