[resolved] How to remove header size restrictions on Fresh & Clean theme? (2 posts)

    I have a header image I'd like to use, which is 950x302. However, the Fresh & Clean theme I'm using restricts headers to 920x116. I don't mind resizing the image down to a width of 920, but when I upload it, the theme prompts me to crop the height, cutting out half the image.

    I'd like to figure out how to simply use the header image as-is, without having to cut it down to the theme's default proportions.

    I'm posting here as my site (frugalcitygirl.com) is self-hosted, but it's worth noting I'm using the WP.com version of the Fresh & Clean theme (see this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-fresh-and-clean-prefer-com-version-how-to-install-on-org)

    Any ideas about where to go to fix this would be appreciated!

    Never mind - found it in a .com support forum: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/change-header-image-size-on-fresh-and-clean

    Leaving this here in case anyone else has the same question. The answer was to insert the following into style.css:

    #branding {
    background: url(IMAGE URL GOES HERE) 0 0 no-repeat;
    min-height: 300px;
    }

    (it's set for a height of 300 but obviously can be changed to whatever the proper height is)
