How to remove "forgot your password?" on the login page (5 posts)

Hi I was wondering if there is an official and proven way to remove the link/text of password reset from the login-related screens, preferably by adding snipets into functions.php.

Alternatively, if I could change/specify the link of "forgot your password?", it'd equally be good.

I tried the plugins, but didn't seem to work...

THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance!

I had read it (but didn't implement the codes), but I was looking for something update-compatible, but this is perhaps sufficient for the time being.
It's funny when somebody tells me to actually try it, and I would try, and it actually works. I'm still looking to hear functions.php-solution, though.
    Thank you, fectio1.
