I just inherieted a blog and the previous administrator had used the blog for several purposes. He wants to continue using the Facebook
Tab Manager, but isn't going to be using the rest of the blog. So, I want remove Facebook Tab Manager from this blog and set him up in a different WordPress blog with this plugin. My question is how do I remove Facebook Tab Manager from the blog I inherieted, where I don't need it and it gets in my way? Thanks

As with any other plugin, you would go to the plugins administration page and deactivate Facebook Tab Manager. At point, the Facebook Tabs menu will disappear from your admin screens.

To be considerate of the former site admin, you should first allow him to set up a blog elsewhere, copy over his data, and register different URLs in Facebook as the source for his content. That way, his page tabs won't suddenly stop working.

To avoid leaving unnecessary clutter in your database, you should also delete the posts associated with Facebook Tab Manager first before deactivating the plugin.

David Thanks... the problem is that on the wordpress dashboard there is no visible plugins adminsitrator on the left side where it usually is. There are also no "Settings", "Users", or "Appearance" tabs. Instead there are "Profile" and "Applications" tabs on the WordPress Dashboard. Without the Plugins tab on the wordpress dashboard, I can't see how to get into the pluins to deactivate and remove the Facebook Tab Manager plugin?

Sounds like you've been set up as an editor on the site but don't have full admin privileges. Look at your own user profile page and it should tell you your user level.
