How do I remove the ability for users to make comments on certain pages? I've got a Contact Me page and I certainly don't need people to make comments on that page. I'm using WP 3.01 and the zBench theme. I've poured over the options but haven't found anything. Thanks in advance

Untick "Allow" comments" on each of those pages within Edit Page.

Yeah, I was looking for that option but it's just not here. Must be the Theme I am using.

3.1 hides some screen options on posts & pages edit screensby default. Just turn on the ones you want.

I wonder why esmi's instructions won't work for me. I unticked 'author' and 'comments' on my About page, and both features still appear on the page. Can anyone explain this phenomenon? I use WP 3.2.1
