I have done a thorough search and tried several recommended fixes, but still have not been able to delete the "Comments" box at the bottom of my pages.

Can anyone guide me through this ?

    Thanks.

"To change the comment settings for a post or page you already published, first locate the post/page you want to edit and click on its title.

Then, locate the Discussion module on the edit screen..."

Thanks for this. I had seen it before but cannot find the Discussion module.

While it deleted the "Comments" it left the word "Edit" on the bottom of every page.

Any idea on how to remove that ?

    Thanks.

Ah, then it's hidden from view. At the top-right of your post editing page you should see a little tab called 'Screen Options' Click that and a whole lot of checkboxes appear. One will be labeled 'Discussion'. Make sure that is checked. When it is, scroll down your screen and you should see it. (It's usually in the middle somewhere).

The 'Edit' will be removed when you log out. It's only an Admin thing

    All fixed !

I just needed to log out.

Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest.

    Thanks for your time.
