    Hello,

    I have a Bouquet theme for my site and would like to remove comment box at the bottom of the page(s): http://www.marifukuda.com/jp

    Any idea how to do this? I have comment box unchecked under pages/screen options/comments.

    Would be grateful to hear how to solve this...

    Many thanks!

    Mari

  2. You want to re-check the box you unchecked. This will add the "comments" metabox under your content editor. Scroll down until you see this "comments" box.

    Then, check the option to "disable comments on this page".

    I have comment box unchecked under pages/screen options/comments.

    this only controls te output of the "comments" metabox under your content editor;

    you'll find the content editor under dashboard - pages - edit page.

    on that page, click 'screen options' near the top right, make sure 'discussion' is ticked; then scroll down to below the page editor window to find the "comments" meta box where you can untick 'allow comments'

    You are awesome, thanks so much for your clear instruction -- it worked!!

    One problem down, two more; now I have to learn how to insert social media (Facebook/Twitter) and create a contact page (rather than putting my email address)...
