[resolved] How to reinsert deleted footer code? (7 posts)

When I was first building my site about a month ago, I deleted some code to remove the footer from my site's pages. Here's my website: http://www.cloakandcurio.com

I cannot remember what the footer code was or where I deleted it from (style.css or one of the php files).

I would now like to include a footer on my page, but cannot figure out how to do this. I have done some file compares using Beyond Compare, but can't find where I made the original change.

Note, "Designed by Elegant WordPress Themes | Powered by WordPress" still appears in the footer area, but I can't get anything else to appear there.

Would someone be able to point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance!

seems you are working with a commercial theme by elegantthemes - please contact them for support as they will know best what belongs where into the footer template.

commercial themes are not supported by this forum.

@ Kegan, I do have a footer.php file and I did the file compare between that and an original of the footer.php and there was no difference. Not sure what I'm missing.

make sure you have a call to get_footer(); in your theme files, otherwise it won't be getting pulled in
