    Hi There

    Have created my first customized WordPress blog website where the frontpage redirects to a static home page using the "Sandbox" theme to allow for ease of customizing the CSS.

    My newbie WordPress Developer question is how do I redirect from the static page to the blog page when all I have for the navigation is the menu bar for the static pages? (See development site up for a week or so before removal).

    I've done the hard work of creating the whole custom website then realized how do I link to the blog pages from the static "Blog" menu item that is dynamically generated by the function

    <?php sandbox_globalnav() ?>

    Thanks for your help.

    do you have a page setup to be your blog page?

    If you make a 'static' page named blog, it will show up in your menu, correct?

    Then in settings-> reading you set that blog page to be your posts page

    Hi RVoodoo

    Oh thanks so much, I feel so dumb! That's it Settings > Reading and I just need to redo the sidebar.php for the reading page.

    You just saved me from a real headache. Newbee indeed!

    Aly :)
