  • You can’t define a custom field before the standard fields (unless you modify the plugin code yourself)

    However you can work around it…

    1) Disable all the standard fields using the dropdown boxes (Set to not available)

    2) Create all the fields as custom fields in the order you want them. Don’t forget to set the validation properties of the custom fields.

    Hi rebelit thanks for the suggestion. But i already done that. but if you go around it like that name that appear when the form is sent into the targeted email will be from:wordpress but if you use the standard fields specially the name field that i want to retain the from:(the name of the user that filled up the form) that is why i want to know if there is something to work around or i am just missing an option. thank you very much.

    ah I see (I haven’t tried it before!)

    However could you retain only the standard name field, then create a custom salutation field (with a css ID)

    Add the other fields & then style the salutation with
    float: left;
    margin-top: -20px (or so)

    you might need to add a clear to the standard name field.

    Just thinking aloud really :/
