How to put text on top of an image in WordPress (5 posts)

    Basically what I'd like to do is have large thumbnails of a blog post featured image with the blog post title and the description text entry right on the post in white. Basically I wanted to do something very similar to this site dannychoo.com

    It is doable, but it depends on your level of coding experience. WAY to long for me to detail it out.

    not really a WordPress problem, more like fundamental formatting:
