In your wordpress admin panel, navigate to the theme editor options. In the editor options, click on the footer file. On the footer file, add anything just above the closing body tags… and it should appear at the bottom of your blog.
what are you planing to add on the footer, analytics or other stat code, or infolinks or other intext advertisement code? Let us know, perhaps we can give you a more targeted answer then…

I haven’t decided what to add there as I am just starting out. However, it seems the site is not completely balanced without a footer. By the way, my admin (dashboard) panel which is to the left, correct, does not display a category called “theme editor”. Could there be another admin panel besides the dashboard?
