   Hi there,

   I would like to use one of my category's as a calender, so some posts have their timestamp set to a future date (eg july 2007). However, I do want these posts to show up now. How do i get wordpress to publish future posts?

   yes, but I was wondering whether there would be a simple way to do this, without installing a plugin, e.g. a function/setting that says 'do publish future dates in category (X)'

   No, there is no such setting.
