Is there a simple way to prevent all the spamming comments? Every day I need to go into moderation and delete from 10-50 comments.

1. Upgrade to the latest stable – e.g. 2.0.10. 2. Look around: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/spam 3. Usually, Akismet and BadBehavior would keep you spam-free.
