   Hello,

   I just make author test account to see what they can do as author and i found out that authors can edit/delete others comments even mine as admin.

   How can i restrict the authors from edit/delete others comments but there own comments ONLY?

   OMG! They can edit posts to. I can`t start recruiting authors like that o0

   Please help.

   NO! The plugin missed up the promotion for authors, NOW they can just upload ONLY! http://i34.tinypic.com/2j3fq61.jpg

   After deactivating and deleting it, the old promotion for authors did`t show up. JUST UPLOAD ONLY!

   I don`t know how to get the old promotion back :(

   I installed this plugin but was not able to allow authors (or create a new role) to allow publishing of a post, editing of published posts and NOT able to edit comments on that post.

   OK What did I miss ---- Authors do not have those privileges on any of my sites.... they have standard Author rights whereas, Editors have rights over Authors?

   Our authors can edit comments on posts they publish.

   It seems like the "edit publishedpost" and editing comments are packaged together.
