    I think maybe you just need to uncomment the <?php the_author() ?> line?

    The author doesn't display a link tho. Is there a tag or plugin that does that?

    Hmm. Were some threads about that in the last week or so - maybe do a search?

    See, I knew about this http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/the_author_posts_link, but I am completely unaware of how to activate it. Can I get a step by step breakdown? This is hard!

    Thanks

    You just need to insert the template tag where you want it to show up.

    <?php the_author_posts_link(); ?>

    If you look in your Main Template (index.php), you will probably see tags like <?php the_category(',') ?> <?php the_time() ?>. These correspond with where the category and the time show on your blog posts. So say, you want the author link to show up before the category... you would just insert the above tag into the template right before the <?php the_category(',') ?> tag.
