how to: photo commentary blog

Hey, all! Looking for help finding a good photo uploader plugin. I want something that lets me post INDIVIDUAL pictures rather than a whole gallery. I don’t want the pictures in frames, I don’t want a slide show, I want to post ONE PICTURE AT A TIME, add comments, then post another SINGLE picture. (Example from imported Tumblr blog: http://www.tourabsurd.com/serengeti-day-1-part-3-everything-under-the-sun/) I also want them to auto-scale to the limits of the column width and wipe out the exif data, a la photoblog.com and tumblr.

I’m really, really hating the default photo options. It’s to the point where I’m thinking of switching back to Tumblr.
