   I seem unable to paste any code into new Pages.

   When I paste in the code section, it is always stripped of coding tags, and then I see a modified version of the pasted code, visible in the preview window, and not the function that I am expecting.

   Am I missing a critical setting?

   Can one only paste Code on certain pages, using specific templates?

   I am very confused!
