how to only show excerpt in the featured boxes

    Hi
    as a complete beginner to wp ive managed to work my way through all of my original list of issues, including the slider ones. However, ive tried and failed to resolve my last problem; Amending the featured items boxes to only show the snippet so that when you click on the ‘read more’ link, it actually takes you to the rest of the post.
    This is probably a wp issue rather than a theme one so please feel free to tell me to go read the codex thingy if it is

    dont worry about answering that, ive worked it out! I didnt realise i needed to create a page with the full text in then link that to the snippet!

    Great theme by the way and if i get the business, i will def be upgrading 🙂
