I am using a the “Random Term” widget from WPGlossary. The WPGlossary plugin creates a “post” for each term in the glossary. Some plugins/extensions I am using can see WPGlossary as separate type of post.

YARRP is not seeing these as separate and displaying the same related posts inside the widget as on the bottom of the post.

Is there any way to remove these related posts from this widget?

Could you post a link to the plugin? I see one but I want to make sure I’m testing the correct one. Thanks.

Thanks so much for testing! If it helps – I can email you the UID/PWD to my site.

    This is the plugin:

Thanks but I don’t need your login information. Could you post a screenshot of the issue so I can know for sure? I’m not able to replicate it.

Also, make sure you have unchecked the “Display results from all post types” in the “Relatedness” panel. If I’m understanding your issue correctly, this may show certain custom post types when you don’t want them to display.

    Thanks.

Here is a link to a page which shows the related posts inside the widget… apologies… should have included this in my first post.

I do have “Display results from all post types” in the “Relatedness” panel unchecked. I’ve got a screen shot – but can’t figure out how to attach….
    Thanks!

I see the list of related posts. Which one do you think should not be listed there?

The ones in the tab widget in the sidebar… under daily definition.

If I click on the word…. it opens with no related posts (this is what I prefer) and the widget no longer has the related posts in the daily definition tab which is now displaying a new word.

Can you email me a screenshot with an example of the problem (because I still don’t see it). Please mail to contact@yarpp.com.

    Thanks!

I have similar problem, you dont want to show non-posts or pages, i just want to see different type of post which is not normal posts or pages. Maybe your answer may help my problem too.
