• Hello.

I’m having trouble moving the posted on date in the Twenty Eleven theme, using a child theme of course. Other tutorials and previous posts on this forum haven’t seemed to work for me, so my apologies if this question has been asked to death. It’s currently at the bottom of the post, but I’d like to move it between the post heading and content. I’d also like to keep the list of tags at the bottom of the post and eliminate the “posted by” completely.

I’d assumed that involves moving around the PHP code in content.php, but doing so threw errors all over the place so clearly I’m mistaken here. I’ve also tried modifying the placement in CSS to no avail. My WP Content Slider located in the header also stopped working sometime during this process for some reason.

Any suggestions? I don’t have a live site yet, all of this is local, so I can provide screenshots if that would help.

Apologies, I made a mistake and it appears I can’t edit the OP. I’m using the TWENTY TWELVE theme, not twentyeleven. I’m experimenting with a billion themes and confused myself when I made this post.
