Do not edit the Twenty Twelve theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. First create a child theme for your changes.

You’ll need to provide a working example of this issue.

If you wait for the image to change you can see the widget behind
I’m having so many issues that I inherited from the first developer it is crazy.
In your shoes, I’d be talking to the client and telling them what a mess the first developer left behind. That should give you more time to re-upload a fresh copy of Twenty Twelve and create a proper child theme.
I changed the css theme back to it’s original settings after it didn’t work… Andrew has helped me before I just need this last fix
Are you using a custom CSS plugin? I couldn’t see an active child theme on your site.
Have you considered using a static front page? There simply isn’t room for a sidebar and an image that wide.
I do have a static front page named “news”… Would another idea be to make my image slider smaller?
What do you guys think? http://bjsports.com
That’s looking a lot better 🙂
