   How to move a blog to a new domain without moving any WP files?

   smaboll,

   I don't want to move core files, I just want to change the domain name. That instruction on Codex doesn't solve this problem.

   Well, you can't really do that: the WP files should be installed on the domain where you want your blog to be.
