tx for your answer.
I check it out and saw that you need //www.mysite.com/wordpress/filename.php
But even then I get
Oops, no such file exists! Double check the name and try again, merci.
I know for sure chmod is correct and the file comes up when I point the browser to the specific URL.
Any other suggestions?

btw how does /templates.php?file=…
in general work?
get_file_open, maybe??? And can you give a place to look for…
If the file doesn’t exist that may be why you can’t chmod it.
If you’re starting your own Plugin then you’ll want to check here:

My plugin does work, but I want the ability to use the online editor for another part of the plugin. I know for sure the file exists and I already manual chmod it 666.
Is the file in your wp-contents/plugin directory?
