   Hi,
   I'm setting up WordPress as a CMS and I'd like the "Write" and "Manage" links to default to pages rather than posts (there won't be a blog on the site). Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks in advance for any help.

   This is something I'd be interested in too, as I'm building a site for my grandma's church. I'm not sure they'd use a blog, but pages deffo!

   Perhaps there is a plugin somewhere, or an admin panel theme, speedie... I shall have to go and investigate!

   Hey all, I figured it out!

   Go to "Settings"
   Click on "READING"

   And there you will see two drop downs.

   One to select the home page and one to select where the blog goes.

   I'm looking for the same, didn't found a solution yet... I thought there was a fix for this.
