How to make title play nice with dateicon without using ?

Hi, I’m using Darkzen theme, and having an issue with the title of each post.

If the title is longer than can fit on one line, it breaks into two – but then both of those are below the dateicon class, which should be to the left.

At the moment, I’m using <br /> to manually cut it – which does make it “play nice” and results in both title lines cleanly to the right of the date.

I realise that may be hard to follow, for a visual reference/to inspect the code, site is here.

The reason I don’t want to use <br /> is that, as you will notice, the tag shows up in the “popular articles” on sidebar, and other places where the title is shown as a part of php.
