• Hi there:

I would like to have a paragraph of explanatory copy at the top of the “page” (yes I know its not really a “Page” in WP), where the Posts appear. Is it possible to do this? Anything I write on the Page (in my case the posts appears on the only non-static page available on the site called “Comments”) of course doesn’t appear because the blogroll of “posts” overrides it.

    Is this possible to do?

    Thanks!

  • You can set hard-coded text in your archives if you like, I suggest you take a look the the Template Hierarchy to figure out which archive files, e.g. archive.php, category.php, tag.php, etc. you’ll need to edit.
