   Is there a way to make the RSS Feed show only a post excerpt? Would this have to be done with a plugin or what? Thanks.

   Or do I have to make the homepage show excerpts? Then the RSS Feed will reflect the home page changes?

   You can set the feed under Settings Panel, Reading sub-panel. The setting on left is "For each article in a feed, show:" select the "Summary" option.
