How to make posts show up on corresponding pages? (5 posts)

I am a total noob. Please pardon my inexperience. I am interested in starting a typical photo blog as a way to share photos of food, the kids, travel, etc. I am fine with all entries displaying on my home page. I also desire for my entries to show up on additional corresponding pages (i.e. all food entries to show up on a food page, kids entries to show up on kids page, so on and so forth). What is the simplest way to accomplish this? Many thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the reply, alchymth. As it turns out, I am unable to see how applying taxonomies would place posts into separate but corresponding pages. If there is something I am missing here with the taxonomy's potential, please tell me more.

for instance, for each category you'll have a category archive which shows the posts of that category; you can have links to these category archive pages either from the top menu (if your theme has one) or from the category widget in the sidebar.

You helped me find what I was looking for. Thank you! I used the links from my categories (i.e. food, family, travel, etc.). I copied and pasted the corresponding links into the "Page Links To" space on Edit Page settings. This did the trick.

My post here reads as a rather redundant thing to have on my blog, but this is what I wanted. Thanks again, alchymyth.
