   Hey,

   all the posts that I assign to one specific category also goes to the main page "home" as well!
   I dont want all my posts to go to the main page unless I specify it...

   so for example if my post is assigned to a category named "interviews" and I only want the post to go to "interviews" why does it also go to the main page named "home" even though i unchecked every categories except for the interview one before i publish it?

   That's the default WP behavior. All posts go to the home page, regardless of their categories. If you want to exclude categories from the home, please visit this link:
