   Hi there.

   I have successfully exported all of my monthly xml files from the Livejournal exporter, and have them saved in a folder called myimages (within wp-content)

   But now I am stuck. The importer in wp-admin doesn't seem to be happy with me (keeps saying it can't create the directory, although, I've created them...i think.)

   Also, once they are uploaded, can they be incorporated into "archives" on the sidebar?

   I think I'm a bit lost, but I'd love someone to help me through this step-by-step?

   2. If you still run into problems, under Options > Miscellaneous, uncheck 'Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders.' and just work on the permissions to your upload directory.
