• Hello!

I first want to say thank you for the wonderful, wonderful theme you have created. I am using the current updated WordPress version. As I am editing my header pages and adding photos and info, I have Left and right menus on my WordPress website theme and wanted to know how to make them not appear when you are going to my (lets say for example) “About Me” page or “Contact” page, etc?

Because I am using your theme as a portfolio for my work and I noticed that when having menus on both sides of my page, it makes my images appear smaller, if you also have any advice on how to make my images larger or look larger when clicking on its posts, that would help. By chance, is there a certain dimension required for the images we use in our posts that would best fit with your theme’s design? (in other words, would I need to edit the code HTML section of the media image I add in my posts?) That way it’d look the best it can and not cut off.

Another question that you might me able to give me help on is, whenever I go to my Customize section of your WordPress theme, my browser keeps refreshing the page? :p and it’s very difficult to stay on the page and edit anything, I’m not sure if its something on my end? I am using Safari as my main browser.

Again, thank you for your theme, its really amazing and I am very satisfied with it. I appreciate all your help, assistance and clarifications.

    Hello Paula,

Thank you for using Ridizain and glad to hear it fits in with your requirements.

I noticed that when having menus on both sides of my page, it makes my images appear smaller

This is due to the content area restriction when both sidebars are active.
In the theme customizer there are options to turn the content sidebar off on the home feed as well as for the single post view page which will give your content area more real estate.

By chance, is there a certain dimension required for the images we use in our posts that would best fit with your theme’s design?

For optimum results the recommended image dimensions are 672px by 372 for narrow content area and 1380px by 770px for full width content area. Anything larger would be cropped to the above dimensions – however if the images were uploaded before the theme was activated then you might need to regenerate the thumbnails.

whenever I go to my Customize section of your WordPress theme, my browser keeps refreshing the page?

That should not be happening at all and it sounds like a script conflict in play. could you try deactivating all plugins and the check if the issue persists? You can reactivate them one at a time and check on which one causes the issue – we can then work on getting that fixed.

Let me know how it goes and if there’s anything else I can help with.

    Hello Zulf,

Thank you very much for your reply back. You’re exactly correct on the plugin part, I found out that it was a WP Copyright protection plug (plug that disables right clicks) that caused the refreshing problem.

“This is due to the content area restriction when both sidebars are active.

My apologies, could you please point me out exactly how I would locate this in my Customizer theme section? (what option would I check off/on exactly) I would like to turn off my right sidebar widget from appearing for the single post view page, I am not sure if this could also be done for my “blog” page section as well.

Another question is, I would really love to create a landing/splash page for my website when you first log on to it. Just a simple page that shows my logo and when you click on it, it directs to my home page. Do you happen to know a plugin that can do this? I have tried many, but no luck.

Thank you again Zulf, I do appreciate your assistance. You’re theme is amazing 🙂
