and I want people to be redirected to the latest post (ex: http://gogo.com/2008/04/my-lates-post-is-here
How can I achieve that ?

look under 'reading' which is under settings in WP 2.5. Look for 'front page displays'.
You can set your site to show your latest post as the first thing viewers see when they arrive at gogo.com
This wont affect sidebar, etc.
