    When i check the Cache age for some sites, it's just a day back while for some sites, it's almost 2 weeks or more.
    Both sites are almost similar,

    --> Registered on same date
    --> Have the same no of articles
    --> Ranking on first page
    --> Same backlinking campaign

    How do you increase the Cache age of a site OR how do you make Google to crawl/cache WP BLOG frequently?
    Somewhere i read that sharing via social networks & google +1's makes it update the index/cache/crawl site?

    Help is appreciated.

    The 2 websites may appear the same but there is soooo much under the hood so to speak that affects how often Google crawls a website... a REALLY good place to start to learn about your question is here...

    Their process of crawling is algorithmic, so the crawl rate is different even if your sites are quite similar, check this out http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=34439. Recently had the same issue with http://winithemes.com, the cached image of the site was outdated, tried to remove it from GWT (but there is no possibility to remove a cached version for the home page), the only thing you could do to speed up the process is changing the crawl rate from GWT or getting your site more popular. Regards!
