How to make gallery thumbnails appear as full image just smaller?

    I have been searching the forums and google for over an hour trying to figure out what seems like it should be (and probably is) an easy fix. All I’m trying to do is set up a gallery on the products page of my new site. I cant seem to make the thumbnails appear as full images. I want the entire image to show, just smaller. I need this bc they are logos and it looks funny if they are cropped and parts of the image are cut off.

    In addition, I would like to make each image a live link to another page containing more pictures and info. Can this be done using the gallery feature? I’m starting to think I may need to insert each image individually to make each a link to the corresponding destination page.

    This is my first website and I am therefore learning wp from complete scratch. Can you tell? :\ Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I believe the thumbnails are auto cropped by WP… the gallery in WP is not the most intuitive.

    so whats the work around?

    any recommended 3rd party galleries I can load that will allow me to accomplish what Im trying to do?

    anyone else have some advice to offer?
