   I am looking to add a little definition to my site
   chappellsquare.com
   I want to have the four columns on the home page have a different shade of color. This is not an option in my theme, how would I go about making this edit? I appreciate any advise.

   edit the style.css of your theme.

   for these kind of problems, please use a tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to identify the neccessary css selectors.
